DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1      Kilimanjaro/Arusha

Our driver will meet you on arrival at Kilimanjaro airport to welcome you and then you will be transferred to Arusha City for your accommodation. Overnight at the Lodge 

Day 02        Arusha / Lake Manyara National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, our driver will pick you on a 4 x4 Safari vehicle and transfer to Lake ManyaraNational Park. On arrival at Mto wa Mbu village you will stretch your legs on a 2 – 3 hours short walk. Here you will meet the local community, taste homemade banana beer, learn about the Makonde woodcarvings and listen to your guide tell you everything about the way of living in this village. You are allowed to have a local lunch or picnic lunch. After lunch you enter the Lake Manyara National park. This is a small but very beautiful park offering breathtaking views, excellent game viewing and an incredible array of bird life. You have a chance to spot zebra, baboon, warthog, giraffe, impala, elephant, hippo, wildebeest and the rare tree climbing lion. In late afternoon you will be transferred back to Mto wa Mbu/Karatu for your accommodation. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/Camp. (B, L, D)

Day 03       Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park

Today you start a day with an early breakfast, and then continue to on a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation area where you descend to the steep crater walls to explore this diverse wilderness area teeming with Africa’s wildlife. Ngorongoro crater hosts the Big Five of Africa, boasting one of the highest concentrations of lions in the world and offers first-class game viewing and is considered one of the best places to capture the endangered black rhino which is the most endangered species in the world due to poaching. Lunch will be taken at picnic site overlooking the hippo pool. In the afternoon you will be transferred back to Tarangire National Park for Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camps

Day 04           Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Enjoy a morning game drive of the Tarangire National Park. The Park covers an area of 2600 sq km.  It’s the 6th largest park in the country. The park is most spectacular between June and December. During this time thousands of animals migrate from dry Masai steep to TarangireRiver, looking for Water. Amongst other species to be seen at Tarangire are rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, warthog, eland, the fringe eared Oryx, lesser and greater kudu, gerenuk and large number of impala.Lunch at your hotel. Mid afternoon, drive back to Kilimanjaro or Arusha.  for departure
